Marna was truly a Proverbs 31 kind of woman. She was an incredibly devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
While she was direct and astute, she was also quiet and tender....as the expression goes, she was "lovely inside and out". Her family was undoubtedly the love and center of her world.
Her last words to me, her husband of 61 glorious years, were "I love you and I will wait for you inside the gate." It is such a comforting thought to know that my faithful Christian wife will be there waiting upon my arrival to Heaven when that time comes.
Marna's passing has caused an emptiness in the hearts of all that knew her - especially her family. But, we are a strong and supportive family. This loss has allowed us to become closer, love deeper and cherish Marna's memory forever.
