Grief Support Resources

Every person must cope with loss of a loved on his or her own terms.

Grief Support Resources

The emotional upheaval these trying times can cause is sometimes so overwhelming that even the support of friends and family may not help relieve the amount of sadness and grief you feel.

At Boyer Family Funeral Home we offer individual, family and group counseling as part of our services at no charge to you.  Kelly is able to help people during the anticipatory stage of grief as well as all aspects after a death has occurred.  She has over 20 years experience in Hospice Care and is well-versed in thanatology; death and dying.  She is also able to help people navigate the process of what needs to be done after a loved one dies.

The following are other resources that may be helpful:

»  Center for Loss & Transition A leading provider of information and inspiration in the areas of illness and dying, loss and grief, healthy caregiving, life transition, and spirituality.

»  Sesame Street’s When Families Grieve Educational content and interactive activities to help support children through their grief.
