Maria E. Halliday-Heisey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Maria E. Halliday-Heisey, 63, of Old Limekiln Road, Newport, died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her Miller Twp. home. Born June 17, 1954 in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late James and Yvonne Marie Hall Commero. Maria had been in retail sales and most recently was an employee of Exide Corporation with 20 years service. She attended St. Anne's Elementary School in Lancaster and graduated from Lancaster Catholic High School. She was a member of Riverside Club of Lancaster and a member of the LOOM. Surviving are her husband J. Robert Heisey Jr., three stepchildren, Robert E. Heisey of Lancaster, Denise A. Heisey, and Heather A. Yarbrough, both of Newark, CA. Five brothers, Joseph E.Commero and wife Donna M, and Jere J. Commero and wife Linda both of Lancaster, James A. Commero and wife Candace L. of Ephrata, Thomas J. Commero and wife Terry L. of Strasburg, John M. Commero of Maytown., two sisters, Cynthia A. Commero Cook and husband Robert J. of Willow Street and Diana C. Commero Rankin and husband Jay C. of Ephrata and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Chauncey E. Hall and Edith Rauser Hall Theobald and paternal grandparents, Joseph and Maria Paparo Commero. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in the Boyer Family Funeral Home, 101 W. Main St., New Bloomfield. Rev Anthony C. Hill will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Boyer Family Funeral Home is honored to handle the arrangements for the Heisey Family.
