Clyde C. Morrow Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Clyde C. Morrow, 90, of Harrisburg and formerly of New Bloomfield died on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Community General Osteopathic Hospital, Harrisburg, surrounded by his family. He was born September 7, 1926 in New Bloomfield and was the son of the late Paul and Laura (Umholtz) Morrow. Clyde attended New Bloomfield High School where he played baseball and football. He was a sSeaman 1st Class in the navy and served overseas during WWII. He was a 32nd degree mason and served as Master of Euclid Lodge #698, Harrisburg in 1967-68. He was a long standing member of the Harrisburg Beagle Club and a member of Shellsville VFW Post 9639. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Duncannon Sportsman's Association. Clyde worked, and retired from Stabler Construction's Protective Service, Harrisburg. Among Clyde's favorite things were hunting and fishing. He loved dogs and always had one or two with him. He especially enjoyed doing favors for and help other people. He was the widower of Betty Morrow and is survived by a brother, Donald (Zook) Morrow and wife Linda of New Bloomfield, daughter in law, Susan Janesko of Grantville, a step son, Richard Hoffman and wife Ruth of Indiana and several grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by a son, Joel Hoffman. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, February 20, 2017 in New Bloomfield Cemetery. Rev. William Pipp will officiate. Military honors will be rendered by the Perry County Honor Guard. The Boyer Family is honored to handle the arrangements for the Morrow Family.
