Sharon Gail Sikes Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Sharon Gail Sikes, 71, of Fox Hollow Road, Shermans Dale, died on Friday, September 2, 2016 at her Carroll Twp. home. Born in South Glens Falls, New York on February 6, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Winters) Keyworth. Mrs. Sikes was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a volunteer at Holy Spirit Hospital and Shermans Dale Ambulance Assoc., she loved crafts and gardening and the Denver Broncos Football Team. Her greatest love was for her family and great care for everyone and her dog Ginger. Surviving are her husband of 53 years, James L. Sikes. Two sons, James A. Sikes and wife Dee of Orrstown and Jeffrey C. Sikes and wife Debbie of Shermans Dale. A daughter, Wendy L. Sikes of Shippensburg. 4 grandchildren, Kenny Sikes and wife Nicole, Curlista, Amber and Gage Sikes and 3 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Gene Pratt, Gary and Vince Keyworth. A sister, Renee Helm and granddaughters, Brandy Cardwell and Kara Sikes. Service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in The Boyer Family Funeral Home, 101 W. Main St., New Bloomfield. Greg Keyworth will officiate. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G.
