John J. Sledzinski

September 25, 1927 - November 10, 2021

John J. Sledzinski Sr., 94, of Shermans Dale passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his Carroll Township home. Born September 25, 1927 in Lake Arial, Pa., he was the son of the late Maikel and Teofilia (Klomfas) Sledzinski. He was a patriot and served his country in the United States Air Force during WWII. He was a proud farmer and a very active in Shermans Dale Community. He was one of the founders of the Shermans Dale Ambulance Association and the Shermans Dale Riding Club. He was a life member of the Shermans Dale Lions Club and active in 4-H and The Boy Scouts of America activities as well as the Shermans Dale Senior Citizens. Over the years he worked for many businesses. Eaton Deichman Paper Co., John M. Sanderson and many area car dealers. He was the widower of Ethel Sledzinski and Edna Cora Sledzinski. Surviving are his children, John J. Jr. and wife Judy, Aubrey L., David L. and Karen Graybill. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, November 15, 2021 in the Boyer Family Funeral Home, New Bloomfield. Burial will be in New Bloomfield Cemetery. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
