Beth Kingsborough
July 22, 1984 - April 30, 2022
Beth Kingsborough, 37, of New Bloomfield earned her angel wings on Saturday, April 30, 2022 surrounded by family and life-long friends. Among many other things, Beth was a fighter as she spent most of her life in a constant battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma – Courageous just doesn’t even describe the sheer bravery, persistence and pure fight she showed and brought every day. To know Beth was to love her – She left a lasting impression on every single person she came into contact with – She was smart as a whip with an extensive vocabulary of appropriate and not-so-appropriate words. Even as a child, she was so original, unique and artistic – She was an excellent writer and often would share her thoughts and ideas on Facebook for all to see. She really was ahead of her time in so many ways. Beth played many roles – Daughter, Sister, friend but most notably – Aunt BB – she never glowed with happiness more than when she held Calvin for the 1st time. She willingly handed the reigns of being the youngest down to him. Her sheer love for Calvin was evident and she was never as proud as when she was added to the “pickup” list at preschool. They used to spend their afternoons watching funny cartoons or movies, all of which BB knew all the characters and story lines – She engaged him in a way that no one else did and for that we will be forever grateful. She really did the best she could with what she had and that never went un-noticed. Beth was a 2002 graduate of West Perry High School, she then moved on to HACC, Temple University, and Penn State to complete her finance degree. Surviving are her mother, Peg Kingsborough of New Bloomfield, a sister, Anne (Justin) Johnson of Mechanicsburg and her nephew, Calvin Samuel Johnson, named for her best friend, Sam Kingsborough, her father. Her Aunt Dot and Uncle Jay Smith of Elliottsburg and Aunt Susie and Uncle Wayne of Harrisburg along with many cousins & great cousins. She also had her fur-kids, Punky and Blackie.
